Thank you for choosing to be a student at our school. We are focused and dedicated to your success in high school and beyond, and we hope that you will become as focused and dedicated to your future as we are.
As a Freshman, you are now a part of a randomly-assigned Small Learning Community where your teachers will know you, care about you, and help you build your skills for success. In your SLC Team, you will not only pursue your Redesign, AVID, or Scholars program of studies. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in collaborative learning activities that explore real world issues based on common topics planned by your teachers. These multi curricular learning experiences will be very exciting and could be in a variety of formats including face-to-face and virtual experiences, such as blogs, podcasts, web site design or movie production just to name a few! What an exciting time to be a Freshman at Anson High School!
